As a subsidiary of Phoenix Mecano, PTR HARTMANN GmbH is engaged in the development, production and sales of exclusively customer-specific chokes, inductors, flyback converters and other wound products of the highest quality.

Product development is carried out by an experienced development team, which can perform conducted interference voltage measurements in its own EMC test laboratory.

For compliance with the required limits for high-frequency interference signals

The high degree of integration of modern electronic circuits demands special attention to compliance with the required limits for high-frequency interference signals. Sources of such interference are permanently high-frequency signals with frequency components higher than 10 kHz. Among others, these can be collector motors, circuits with triacs or thyristors, switching transistors or other potential high-frequency sources. To cover the large number of possible applications, we offer a variety of current compensated chokes according to DIN EN 60938-2.

Chokes with iron powder cores

Versatile thanks to low stray field design

We offer chokes based on iron powder produced in-house and all commercially available core materials. They are suitable for use in a wide variety of applications in which, for example, high power density and a low stray field design are essential. Our chokes based on iron powder according to DIN EN 60938-2 are produced and developed as toroidal core, cup core and E-/EF core designs. These inductors (depending on the design) can be used in a range from a few watts up to the 2-digit kilowatt range.

PFC chokes

PFC-Drossel
Low-capacitance components, ideally suited for energy protection

These chokes are low-capacitance components wound on metal powder cores. This results in good EMC performance. Metal powder materials are characterized by a low stray field and high saturation currents. A wide range of cost-effective core materials is available. Toroidal cores, PQ cores and also different variants of E cores are used as cores. The selection is based on criteria such as loss behavior, DC bias and frequency spectrum. The switching frequencies of the PFC circuit can range from 20.0 kHz to several hundred kilohertz developed in a customer-specific and optimized manner depending on the application.

Switched Mode Power Supply Transformers

Schaltnetzteil Übertrager Transformatoren
Low volume, low weight and high efficiency

We produce application-specific transformers up to a core size of approx. E65 for all circuit topologies. By using a wide variety of core geometries, there are almost no limits to the areas of application and can therefore be developed to customer specifications. Input voltages of up to more than 1,000 V can be realized, depending on the core size. In addition, very high output currents are possible through parallel winding, depending on the customer's application. Special requests such as a higher pin count or larger pin spacing are made possible by our own plastic injection molding shop. The materials used are UL-certified and comply with current specifications.
