Not only print, but impress

We encounter printed and labeled devices at every turn every day. Whether household appliances, remote controls or TV/audio equipment, we find printed surfaces almost everywhere. For housings and injection-molded parts, printing has also proven its worth. Preferably, these are usually company logos or characters that explain a particular function.

Modern printing methods for enclosures are pad printing, screen printing and digital printing. Nowadays, most plastics and metals can be printed and also have a long durability. It's more a matter of proper pre-treatment and experience to ensure that the print delivers what it promises. In addition to printing, housings can also be engraved or laser-marked.
When which process is best suited depends on the individual color choice, application environment and number of housings to be designed. What we still need from you is a vectorized graphic file. We will be happy to advise you on this!

Pad printing / Screen printing

Pad printing is very suitable for plastic and metal surfaces and is therefore an excellent printing process for housings. The silicone pad is easily deformable and transfers the ink to the printing surface. Due to the deformable nature of the pad, even non-planar surfaces as well as recessed areas and paragraphs can be printed without any problems. The minimum line thickness is 0.3 mm.


Screen printing is particularly suitable for large areas and filled-in motifs. This printing process has a strong opacity with rich colors. Our membrane keypads and front foils are mainly printed using the screen printing process.

Engraving

An engraving is still readable after years under hard conditions. It is recommended that the engraving be subsequently covered with paint. This prevents corrosion of the metallic material and also provides excellent readability.
Laser engraving is preferable for very fine lettering and logos. File formats in STEP and dxf can be used for engraving enclosures.

Digital printing

If your motif or logo has a color gradient, digital printing is the right process. Furthermore, very fine lines and motifs can be printed and a large number of colors are available. For housings, front panels and injection molded parts, digital printing is the ideal complement to the more common pad and screen printing.

Laser marking

Laser marking is suitable for serial numbers or continuous lettering as well as for very fine lettering, characters and logos. For laser marking of housings or profiles you can send us the motif in a 2D format like dxf.
